The children in the junior room made patterned duvets for their bed as part of this months Maths topic. They are all snuggled up in bed together! 

Junior Room Maths Week Activities

Some snaps of the children in the infant room doing activities for Maths Week.

They went on a Maths trail & played Maths games.

They also held a competition for all the children in the school to guess how many sweets in the jar. Well done to Michael Canny who was the winner with a guess of 149!!

Khan Academy

The children in the senior room are using Khan Academy to help develop their maths skills. Each week, Ms. Ruane helps the children to complete maths activities on computers. Today, Ava Mannion, Rian Donnellan and Ciara Bowens were the prize winners for having spent the most time online playing maths games at home. Well done !photo 1 (3)

Classroom displays- January 2016

Junior Room: The children made patterned duvets for the bears from the Big Book “Peace at Last”,

Middle Room: The children created an art piece using Paula Rego’s picture  “The Dance”.

Maths Week- Junior Room
