Cross Border Orchestra

The children from 3rd to 4th classes took part in the Cross Border Orchestra initiative. They have spent the last five months learning nine songs, practising them daily along with some groovy dance moves. They then performed in NUIG Kingfisher hall to a packed audience last Sunday along with the orchestra.

Teddy Bear Hospital

On Thursday the 26th of January , the pupils in Junior and Senior Infants travelled to Galway to the “Teddy Bear Hospital”. Each child got to bring a sick teddy with them and recieved medical care from many doctors. Each teddy got an MRI, x ray and some poor teddies needed surgery. The children were also given a prescription to care for teddy at home. The class had to create a poster for the event. This was on dispaly in NUIG on the day. An enjoyable day was had by all 🙂
