Junior tour to Westport

We had a fantastic day yesterday on our school tour to Westport. We left the school at 8.30 am. Once we arrived at our destination the children from the junior room went into the house to do a painting pottery activity and the children from the middle room started to get ready for their adventure activities.

The children in the middle room climbed high ropes, trees, jumped off a platform and they also did archery tag. They spent three hours on these activities.

In the meantime the infants and 1st class painted pottery, went on the train, slid down the cannonball run, raced go karts around a track and went to the Pirates’ Den indoor play centre!

All the children then ate lunch together, went on a tour of the house and rounded off the day with a go on the swinging pirate ship and then they all got soaked on the pirates’ plunge even Miss Ruane. Everyone had lots of fun. We arrived back at school at 4.30pm.

Pictures to follow!
