Tour to Athenry
We had a fantastic time yesterday on the Junior tour to Athenry. We visited the heritage centre where we tried archery, negotiated our way around a maze and dressed up as people from Medieval times. Mary our guide told us all about life in Athenry and stories of Vikings and Normans. We had a lovely picnic and a tour of the castle. We rounded off the day with a trip to a playground.
